"Filmed in Europe between 1958 and 1966, this set of Jazz Icons™ DVDs features concerts by seven of the most influential jazz artists of the twentieth century captured in their prime and accompanied by some of the most legendary sidemen of the day."
The muted trombone solo on My Funny Valentine, from the Duke Ellington disc is worth the price of admission. But I can't seem to bring myself to take the Wes Montgomery disc out of the player. Not only was the guy a pioneer and a bona fide genius, but the joy on his face when he plays is infectious. One of the coolest (and unexpected) aspects is watching the players rehearse and talk about the tunes before launching into them.

Now, most importantly, they are available to the entire world.”I say, "Wow!" every time I put one in. More details to follow...
