Relief
In case you haven't heard, there's a newish literary journal called Relief. They publish fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. And sometimes they actually publsih ME!
In fact, the most recent issue features a new short story of mine called Normal People. This is the second story of mine they've published (the first, entitled All Healed Up, was in the premiere issue) and I couldn't be happier about it...wait, I could be a little happier, I suppose...if maybe a few thousand of you clicked over and subscribed to the journal. Of course, they'd be even happier than me.
And in case you missed it on Facebook, the folks at Relief are hosting night of reading and music in Chicago. The event will be held at Brothers K Coffee Shop in Evanston, IL on August 22, from 6-9 pm. For more info, click here. Hope to see you some old friends there and make some new ones too.
